They have a smooth surface that minimizes discomfort. With Superior color stability, they provide aesthetic appeal.

The high elasticity and excellent rebound offer more stable forces, allowing for better control of tooth movement as well as improved treatment efficiency.

Our brace power chains can offer gentle and sustained forces, achieving therapeutic effects while reducing patient discomfort and having minimal impact on their daily life.

Types of Power Chains for Braces

Chain braces come in different colors and spacing. Different colored chain braces cater to the personalized preferences of patients, with options such as black braces power chain, silver braces power chain, teal braces power chain and light blue braces power chain.

The normal clear type chain braces are favored by both doctors and patients, because they blend well with the color of the teeth, making them less noticeable.

Based on spacing, braces and chains can be categorized into short, continuous, and long types.

Each type provides different levels of force, allowing doctors to choose the appropriate type of brace chain rubber based on the treatment needs.

FAQ

Power chain braces primarily purpose is to apply forces that help adjust the position of teeth and their occlusal relationships, as well as to maintain the existing positions of teeth.

Power chain braces serve multiple purposes, such as closing gaps between teeth and adjusting the midline.

They can also provide resistance to prevent unnecessary tooth movement during the correction process.

Power chains play an important role in orthodontic treatment, they are commonly used to provide the force that assists with tooth movement.

In most cases, using power chains is necessary in orthodontic treatment, but you will not wear them for the entire duration of your treatment.

You may wear power chains for a specific period, depending on your treatment plan and the exact movement of your teeth.

Braces power chains are usually used by the dentist, they are chains that are tightly secured to the brackets, making it impossible for patients to remove them.

The length of the braces power chains is determined by the doctor. Rubber bands can be used by both the doctor and the patient, they need to be replaced with a new one every day.

There are different sizes of rubber bands, and the doctor will choose the appropriate size and then teach patients how to put them on. Power chains apply more force than rubber bands.

  • Measuring and Cutting the Power Chain:
Measure the required length of the powerchains based on the patient's tooth arrangement and treatment goals. Use scissors to cut the appropriate length of the power chain, typically leaving a little extra length.
  • Connecting the Power Chain:
Connect one end of the brace chain rubber to a bracket, ensuring it fits securely into the bracket's groove. Then, extend the power chain to the adjacent bracket and connect it sequentially until all necessary brackets are linked with the power chain.
  • Applying Appropriate Tension:
When connecting the orthodontic power chain, ensure that appropriate tension is applied. If it is too tight, it may cause discomfort, while if it is too loose, it may not provide effective treatment.
  • Checking and Adjusting:
Ensure that the elastic chain is installed correctly, without twists or disconnections. The doctor should check the arrangement of the teeth to ensure that the power chain can work effectively during treatment
