Installation:
Preparation for measurement
1. Insert the measuring wire plug into the socket on the right side of the machine.
2. Insert the file clip and lip hook into the sockets of the measuring wire.
3. Line connection test confirmation (test before each use)
a) Press the power switch. Confirm that the LCD screen displays a screen for measuring.
b) Confirm that the measuring wire is properly inserted into the socket of the unit.
c) Confirm that the file clip and lip hook are connected to the socket of the measuring wire.
d) Touch the clip of the file clip on the measuring line with the lip hook. Confirm that
the short-circuit indicator icon on the LCD display is stable, indicating that the line is normal. Otherwise, the file clip or measuring line is damaged and must be replace.
4. Determination of working length
a) When the root canal length indicator reaches position 0.0 of the dial, the root canal file has reached the anatomical apical foramen, and the measured length at this position is subtracted from 0.5 to 1.0mm as the root canal working length.
b ) When the root canal indicator bar indicates the arrival of the red zone OVER. this indicates that the root canal file has exceeded the apical foramen, and a continuous beep will be emitted at the same time.
*Due to the differences of teeth and root canal morphology, the above mentioned root canal length will be different, please make your judgment according to clinical practice.
Note: After measuring the length of the root canal, please be sure to take X-rays for confirmation.
Apex stop settings
a) Due to individual differences, the length of root canal working varies. The measurement of working length always takes into account the respective pathological conditions and is determined according to the clinical experience of the individual. Therefore, the position of the apex stop can be between 0.0 and 1.0 scale and can be set according to the individual use of the apex stop setting key
b)When the display reaches the apex stop, the machine continuously emits a beep to indicate that the set apex stop has been reached.
Battery charging
When the battery residual display flashes, please do not continue to use it When the display flashes, it indicates that the remaining power is low.
1. Insert the AC power adapter plug into the left side socket of the machine, and then insert the AC adapter power plug into the power socket.
2. The yellow charging indicator light is on, indicating that the machine is in the charging state. The indicator light changes from yellow to green,indicating that the charging is over. It takes about 120 minutes for the machine to be fully charged.
3. After charging, please unplug the AC power adapter and power plug.Note: When the AC power adapter is charging on the power supply, the machine cannot be used, and it must be kept away from the machine when charging, The patient's operating area is more than 2 meters.
