Installation & Removal
· Connect the quick connector to the handpiece connection tube.
· Insert the quick connector into the end of the air polisher.
· To remove, simply pull the quick connector backward.
Recommended Sand Powder
· It’s recommended to use high-purity aluminum oxide sand powder with a particle size of 20-80 microns (99% purity).
· Sand powder can absorb moisture from the air, causing it to clump and reduce performance. After filling, tightly secure the powder bottle lid.
· Dry sand powder should flow freely. If it feels sticky or clumps together, it’s too moist.
External Applications
Ideal for cleaning and roughening surfaces before bonding:
· Metal and porcelain surfaces
· Fiber posts
· Inlays/Onlays
· Maryland bridges
· Orthodontic brackets and supports
· Removing old cement layers before rebonding
· Checking for defects in metal restorations
Internal Applications
Used to roughen porcelain or resin restoration surfaces for better bonding.
Instructions for Use
1. For first-time use, test on a similar material first.
2. Keep the nozzle 2-10 mm away from the target area.
3. Aim the nozzle at the target area.
4. Step on the foot pedal until the surface is evenly roughened (just a few seconds).
5. Remove the powder bottle, empty leftover powder, and clean the lid seal with compressed air or a small brush. Attach an empty powder bottle and press the start button to clear the tube.
6. Wipe the device with a damp cloth; do not soak it in water or other solutions, as this can cause clogs.
7. Sterilize at 135°C. Before sterilizing, remove the powder bottle and sterilize separately.
Clearing Clogs
If clogging occurs:
1. Remove the powder bottle and use a #15 or #20 file to clear the nozzle.
2. Blow air through the nozzle until air flows freely, then reattach the powder bottle and use maximum compressed air.
3. If issues persist, contact your distributor.
Avoid using recycled sand powder, as this can easily clog the tubes!
